POWERHOUSE’S PR ACTION OF THE YEAR 2014 WAS HANDLING MEDIA COMMUNICATION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Representatives of persons with disabilities who urged the government to stop and restructure its work ability reform thanked the communication agency Powerhouse for all its voluntary work. As a token of gratitude and in memory of joint actions, a representative of disabled people handed Powerhouse consultants Janek Mäggi and Ivar Õuekallas a beautiful cup.
“You have been our long-term advisers in organising major events. The list includes the donation campaign for acquiring a robot-assisted walking therapy machine for children, the commemorative event and presentation of the biography of Mihkel Aitsam, rallies held in connection with the work ability reform,” said Auli Lõoke, managing director of the Estonian Union of Persons with Mobility Impairment, adding: “You have helped to create a positive image about people with disabilities and assisted us in public relations. You have prepared press materials, organised press events and done a lot of voluntary work for us. Thank you for everything!”
